Are room blocks reserved for out-of-town guests attending the commissioning?

Yes, for the convenience of our guests, a room block has been secured for those attending the commissioning at the Norfolk Waterside Marriott.

How will I know if I have been invited to the commissioning?

Guests of Colonel Barnum & Martha Hill will receive invitations electronically via email. Members of the general public will need to request tickets.

Are there other events happening during the commissioning weekend?

Yes, however, please be advised that attendance at select events is by Invitation Only.

Can children attend the commissioning Ceremony?

For safety reasons, children 12 and above are able to attend the commissioning ceremony.
